Boy what a whirl wind of a wedding day! With many guests, vendors and bridal party coming from Mobile to Malbis, it was quite hectic with it being Memorial Day weekend. Traffic was backed up for miles down the interstate. Luckily we were able to reroute guests and family to be able to make it to the ceremony on time.
It started at 9:00 in the morning at a salon in Daphne. The girls arrived in a steady stream to get their make up done as the bride was pampered with mimosas and fresh fruits.

After everyone was finished with their makeup it was off to the ceremony/reception site. The historic Malbis Nursery where Brandon and Kayla would exchange their vows under the vine-covered arbors surrounded by friends and family.
Brandon and Kayla decided to do their first look before the ceremony and gracious, I have to admit I was in tears trying to photograph it. One of the most emotional experiences ever. The love you see between these two is absolutely breath taking.
Poor Brandon had the tears flowing before he even turned around to see Kayla
And then she stepped out and that was all she wrote. There was no way to hold the tears back at this point. Any control he had over his emotions was gone, swept away in the moment of seeing his bride for the first time...

There were a few people peeping...including the bride's sister. We all cried...evidence was on her face after just having paid to have her makeup professionally done.

After the first look it was time to get moving with the detail shots, a few formals, and resting before the ceremony...

...and now time for the ceremony!

ReplyDeleteKayla & Brandon's Wedding Day was mesmerizing. I smile the whole time I was watching their wedding photos. We also have the dream to have such a stunning ceremony but at this time we are just finding it hard to plan our big day. Finding one of the most suitable wedding venues has become a challenge for us. Can anyone help with it?
